Victron Energy - Quattro Inverter/Charger for Off-grid Solar PV systems

The Quattro unit is a battery charger which offers self-consumption and back-up power. It is installed on the AC side of a PV system and sits between the inverters and the grid.

The Quattro unit has two AC inputs. It is suitable for systems with two AC power sources - for example a grid connection and a diesel generator. The unit also has two AC outputs and the PV system is connected to the main AC output - the secondary AC output can be used for a programmable load such as an immersion.

Three Quattro units can be connected in 3 phase configuration and several units can be installed in parallel for larger commercial systems.

The Quattro inverter/charger is suitable for use with lead-acid batteries, it can also charge Li-ion batteries if installed with a Battery Management System.
