The Solax Hybrid storage unit
The Solax Hybrid consists of a PV inverter and Li-ion battery charger built in to a single unit.
The unit is designed to offer self-consumption by storing surplus energy in the Li-ion battery and then using this energy to help power the home whenever consumption exceeds demand.
The EPS model also provides back-up power - it can be installed with a manual changeover switch to keep essential loads running during a power cut.
The LG Chem 6.4kWh Li-ion battery
In addition to the Solax Hybrid unit you will also require a compatible Li-ion battery bank.
The LG Chem 6.4kWh Li-ion battery provides 5.76Wh of useful storage.
It is a compact battery supplied with a 7 year manufacturer's remaining value performance warranty.
