What does Solarif Insurance cover you for?

Private individuals can take out insurance for their Solar PV System up to 
£350,000.00.  Acceptance, policy issuance and payment is handled entirely by online.
 
Installers / suppliers / EPC-, O&M-, S&M-contractors have different insurance solutions tailored to their business. These include transport, Construction All Risk and liability insurances, but also a Solar PV Insurance as part of a service contract, extended warranties and cover against reduced yields.
 
Investors / banks / owners  can choose a wide range of insurances for their purchased or to be purchased Solar PV installations. Solar PV Insurance (All risk and production loss), Extended Product Warranties, cover against reduced yields, lack of sun and liability insurance are included.

Who qualifies for the Solarif Insurance scheme?

The Solarif Insurance scheme has compiled a list of module and inverter manufactures that are eligible.

To be eligible Solarif completed a positive risk assessment of the technical and financial aspects, environmental and labour conditions of the factory, the below named manufacturers received certification by Solarif Insurance. Clients of these manufacturers can insure their projects with the option ‘Inherent defect from Solarif Insurance, which backs up the warranty of the modules and inverters*.
